The Mishna in Avos (4;1) says "Who is wise? He who learns from every man".

The commentators explain that each person is created with their own character flaws along with their good traits as well. A wise person will realize that although he has flaws other people have this same trait perfected. He will therefore be able to look at each person and take from them the traits that they are exemplary in thereby correcting any of his own flaws. Although there are some people that are truly wicked even these people we can learn from. Obviously we shouldn't mimic any of their acts or deeds but in the same way they approach their wickedness with great alacrity and enthusiasm so too we should approach doing good.

To illustrate this the Magid MeMezritch is quoted as saying that we can learn three things from a baby.
1) They are constantly active, doing and moving; we too should be constantly trying to accomplish and doing the Will of Hashem.
2) Whenever they need something the cry; we too should realize that everything we need and will get comes from Hashem all we need to do is to cry out to Him.
3) They are constantly happy and worry free; we too should be in such a state by realizing that Hashem is constantly watching over us and taking care of our needs.

Shabbat Shalom,

Heath
