We thank the Staenberg Family Foundation, which helps support local Jewish organizations, for awarding NHBZ an “Anything Grant.” Our NHBZ Board of Directors identified two immediate needs for our Sanctuary.
- A new movable wall that will separate the sanctuary from the social hall
- Four new elegant chairs for the Bima
The grant will pay up to 50% of the total cost, which we estimate as $7,300.
The shul will need to raise $3,650 by 4/21 to receive the grant money.
You can donate any amount to the Beautification Fund for the bima chairs a bima chair and movable wall, or you can dedicate ‘in memory or in honor of’ someone; dedication includes an inscribed plaque on the Sanctuary wall. This dedication is usually $10,000, but now it is only $8,000 – until March 30. Call the Office for details – 314-991-2100, x2.
