Four Questions – Bobby Levine

THE FOUR QUESTIONS

Once again, it is not possible that you don’t know our next player: The one, the only…

BOBBY LEVINE

The youngest of three sons, Bobby was born and raised in St. Louis and has always been musical and athletic. After earning a BFA in Graphic Design from Colorado State, he came home, and with Sheryl (nee Rosen) Levine raised our beloved Nina Grace A”H. Bobby is the Creative/Art Director in the marketing department of St. Louis Music, and hosts “Open Gym” twice a week at the St. Louis Gymnastic Centre. He and Norma Hanneken married in 2021. The next time you see him, ask about his celebrity encounters (yes, plural!).

The Questions:

1. Who is your favorite Torah personality and why?
A. “Yoseph HaTzadik. He was an interpreter of dreams. He adapted to everything that happened to him and saved the Jewish people as well as all of Egypt. One reason among many others for this being my favorite is that I wore a “coat of many colors” for my Bar Mitzvah. That was my Parsha.”

2. What is your favorite snack food?
A. “Cereal (Sugar Smacks, Cap’n Crunch); roasted, salted nuts; good grapes; a banana.”

3. Three words that best describe you?
A. “Creative, light-hearted optimist.”

4. What inspires you?
A: “Nature. Women. Learning (true knowledge). Music. Love. Visual arts. Other people’s inventiveness.”

Thank you, Bobby! (May we please see a picture of the Bar Mitzvah coat?)

DID YOU KNOW …

that Bobby Levine takes an active role in the Shul, every week?

Just recently, he: trimmed bushes, helped weed the gardens, roped/staked off the MSD retaining pond, climbed an extension ladder to change light bulbs in the Sanctuary and stairwell, learned how to start the kitchen pilot lights, and is making time to volunteer for Pizza Night Clean-up Crew.

And, there is MORE!! Bobby is the creative mind behind the vast majority of our flyers, the Anniversary Event invitations, and the Ad Journal cover. In addition to being a gifted artist, he is also a very talented musician and drummer, gymnast, and unicyclist! Our very own Renaissance Man! A huge round of applause and much gratitude and appreciation, Bobby, for all you do!

Thank you for being YOU!
