Passover begins Saturday evening, April 12, 2025, and once again the Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis through its Rabbi Sholom Rivkin Tzedakah/Merle Hartstein Maos Chitim program is conducting its annual campaign to assist hundreds of families in our
community in celebrating this important holiday of the Jewish people. The Vaad Hoeir is the central institution providing this assistance along with the cooperation of several Jewish communal agencies.
The need for more generous support is especially critical amid the ongoing rampant inflation. Many families continue to struggle to meet their basic needs. The added expense of the holiday preparation is even more stressful.
