Security Presentation

The NHBZ Safety and Security Committee is pleased to announce that Carmi Lawrence, Director of the Synagogue Safety Committee of North America, will be addressing NHBZ a week from Sunday night, on April 19th at 7:00pm. The topic is “Keeping Your Synagogue Safe”. Carmi recently moved here from Chicago and attends U-City Shul. We are very fortunate to have him in our Community. He is an excellent speaker and his presentations, which include videos and discussions of real events, are always entertaining and very informative. This presentation is in response to a number of Congregants who, in light of current events, are concerned about security and safety. We think all who attend will be glad they did. Following the first presentation, Carmi will have a special workshop for our Greeters and Safety Team Captains, so if you are in that group, please be sure to attend.
